JAPAN DENIM DAYS 2024 Held on November 9th and 10th!
For two days, the area around Kojima Station was filled with denim-themed events, offering visitors a rare opportunity to observe the entire denim production process and even try their hand at actual processing techniques.
Following our participation in the previous event, YutoRi18 once again hosted a hands-on tie-dye experience.
Tie-dyeing is a technique where fabric is tied and dyed, allowing for the creation of one-of-a-kind designs depending on how the fabric is bound and which colors are combined.
Even young children could easily participate, and some were so enthusiastic that they came both days, saying, “Tie-dyeing was so much fun!”
It was a joyful experience for both kids and adults, and many walked away with a memorable, personalized piece.
We were delighted to share the charm of the denim industry not only with local visitors but also with guests from outside the prefecture.
This event was a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the beauty of craftsmanship and the appeal of denim.
We hope to take part again next year if the opportunity arises.
