Event Held at AEON Mall Kurashiki！

ADASTRIA ✕ YutoRi18 ✕ Pantone Future School
〜 with AEON Mall Kurashiki 〜
On Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th, we held an event at AEON Mall Kurashiki!
This was our fourth collaboration with Adastria, born from the desire to share the charm of Okayama and Kojima’s denim industry with as many people as possible. The event was a great success, drawing a large crowd!
In addition to hands-on experiences like sanding and tie-dyeing, we also offered novelty item creation and distribution, as well as a clothing collection for garments no longer in use.
As part of our initiative, we distributed denim flowers crafted by children attending Pantone Future School as novelty items.
By adding their unique personalities to leftover denim fabric, the children transformed it into beautifully designed roses.
We hope that receiving these roses brought smiles to each visitor’s face and served as a gentle prompt to reflect on environmental issues around them.
During the sanding and tie-dye activities, we had fresh and engaging conversations with visitors about what kind of designs to create and how the final products might turn out.
We believe the experience gave participants a better understanding of the various denim processing techniques and the kind of work YutoRi18 is involved in.
